Wow! So refreshing, what a find! In a day and age where restaurants are having to constantly pivot and as a customer we’re expected to lower our expectations and yet pay more, not the case here. We were cheerfully greeted, received excellent top notch service, and the food . . . Fan-freaking- tastic! They smoke their meat in house, we had The Cuban and The Pulled Pork Sandwich both delicious! We especially appreciated they didn’t drench the meat in bbq sauce to hide the flavor of the meat. Server recommended the Tri-tip chili - again, delicious! And one final note - if you’re wondering if you can still get a decent drink for a decent price in this town - um Cha-Ching $$$, if you’re drinking at Bandits you can!!
Salmon burger was best burger I’ve had. Can not find Salmon like this in Kentucky. Well worth the mile walk from truck stop. I will be back again.

A great choice for a meal in Troutdale. We had the housesmoked salmon sandwich and the smoked meatloaf one and split them. They both were excellent. Recommended.
Recently had the food they catered for a service. They were respectful, kind and their food was AMAZING! They were professional, kind and seemed to be right on time. After the service many of us went to their bar and it was clean, beautiful atmosphere with good drinks and appetizers. My husband and I will be back. Also a great little location!
This bar is great! Had the SW Munchers. It had potato, jalapeños, & cheddar cheese inside. Very yummy. Also had the chicken nachos, & they were delicious. Love how they smoke the chicken. Super good! Drinks & service was great as well! They also have video poker & back patio which is a bonus !
Jamie was a great bartender, waitress and host! She was the only person working out front and she didn’t skip a beat. I expected a long wait, but she kept moving and taking care of everybody all the while exchanging a few words of conversation. There was a good crowd of people with very few empty seats, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and I think a lot of them knew each other. There’s a couple large screen TVs and some video games. Good selection of beer and a great food menu, I had a difficult time because there were so many things I wanted to try. We had the chicken gizzards as an appetizer and I got the turkey Reuben with tots and my friend got the Dirty Boat. If you’re in Troutdale, stop in.
Stopped in looking for something local. Smoked salmon burger was top notch, friendly staff and great western atmosphere. Highly recommend. Very cool historic town, too.
The world need more bars/restaurants like this. Food was 12/10 with great portions. Service was great too. Not too expensive either
What a great spot! We are visiting Troutdale and stumbled across Bandits. Really good service, classic tavern atmosphere, and great food. The dirty rice with house smoked chicken and the house smoked turkey reuben sandwich were fire. The house smoked tri tip was amazing. Highly recommended as a chill spot with great food.
